Azure Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Platform Engineer with 6–10 years of experience in Azure Data Engineering, cloud platforms, distributed systems, infrastructure automation, and DevOps.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available Azure data platform solutions. The role involves working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Event Hubs, Synapse, Cosmos DB, AKS, Azure DevOps, Terraform, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production environment management, data pipeline troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, disaster recovery, and root-cause analysis.

• 6–10 years of experience in Azure Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or related technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and ADLS Gen2.
• Experience with Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Synapse, APIM, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and App Services.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and ARM Templates for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience managing containerized applications using Docker and AKS.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, failover, and high-availability solutions.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience designing, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, especially with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Experience managing Azure environments across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production.
• Experience monitoring Azure VMs, applications, logs, storage, CPU, memory, and network resources.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud-native development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field preferred.
