We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically:
Personal information you provide
- Account registration: name, email address, phone number, username, password.
- Profile data: job seeker details (skills, resume, experience), employer details (company name, contact info).
- Payment details: (handled by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers).
- Support communications: messages you send to support.
Identity & Business Verification (Naukricart-specific additions)
To maintain authenticity and prevent fraud on the Naukricart platform, we may collect verification data such as:
- DigiLocker-based identity verification for job seekers (Aadhaar or government-issued documents when enabled).
- GST verification for employers during signup or profile completion (business name, GSTIN status, registration details).
Information returned by the DigiLocker or GST verification services is used solely for verification and onboarding purposes.
Usage & device information (automatically)
- Device identifiers, operating system, app version, analytics events, crash reports.
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP.
- Interaction data: pages/screens viewed, features used, timestamps.
Content and media
Any content you upload (photos, files, documents, job posts, resumes, messages).
Cookies & similar technologies
Used for authentication, analytics, and preferences.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide and operate Tylect products, including Naukricart.
- Create, verify, and manage user accounts.
- Verify job seeker identity via DigiLocker and validate employer businesses via GST, where applicable.
- Personalize and improve platform features and content.
- Diagnose issues and improve performance.
- Communicate with you (updates, alerts, support).
- Perform analytics to improve services.
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. Third-Party Services & Links
We may use third-party services including analytics, crash reporting, payment gateways, and government identity verification systems like DigiLocker or GST APIs. These services have their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain data as long as needed to provide services or comply with legal obligations.
Verification data (DigiLocker/GST) is stored securely and only as long as required for account trust and safety.
7. Account Deletion
- Users can request account deletion at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
- Once a delete request is submitted, the account will be deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.
- The account and all associated data will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
- During these 30 days, the user may cancel the deletion request and reactivate their account.
- After the 30-day period, all data will be erased and cannot be recovered.
- Some minimal data may be retained only if legally required (e.g., fraud prevention, financial records).
8. Data Storage & Retention
- We store user data securely for as long as the account is active and required to provide services.
- Once the user requests account deletion, their stored data will be retained only for the 30-day grace period.
- After 30 days, all personal data, uploaded documents, verification data, resumes, job posts, messages, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.
- Backup records containing fragments of data (if any) will be automatically overwritten during regular system maintenance cycles.
- No data will be accessible to the user or any third party once it is deleted.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data.
No method is 100% secure. We will notify you of breaches as required by law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or receive a copy of your data.
