Integration & Data Migration Engineer(Java/Python) – Enterprise SaaS

We are looking for an experienced Integration & Data Migration Engineer with 6–10 years of overall experience to work on enterprise SaaS integration, identity integration, API integration, and data migration projects.

The role involves integrating an enterprise SaaS platform with existing enterprise applications and identity services, along with migrating data from an existing Java-based application.

The target SaaS platform is ITONICS, but prior ITONICS experience is not mandatory. Candidates with experience in similar enterprise SaaS platforms and strong API, IAM/SSO, SQL, ETL, and data migration experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assess existing Java applications, databases, interfaces, scheduled jobs, attachments, user records, and dependent systems.
• Design and implement integration architecture between SaaS and enterprise applications.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, file-based, and scheduled interfaces.
• Implement SSO using SAML/OIDC and integrate with Active Directory/IAM platforms.
• Define user, group, and role-mapping rules.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
• Analyze and profile source data for quality, duplication, relationships, attachments, and compatibility issues.
• Create detailed source-to-target data mappings.
• Build data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
• Migrate structured data, relationships, attachments, historical information, and reference data.
• Execute mock migration cycles and production migration.
• Implement data reconciliation, exception reporting, and validation processes.
• Support data archiving and legacy application retirement.
• Perform integration, migration, security, and performance testing.
• Support production cutover, rollback planning, and post-production hypercare.
• Prepare technical documentation, interface specifications, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of overall technology experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS integration, API integration, or data migration.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and secure API authentication.
• Good knowledge of SAML, OIDC, SSO, Active Directory, IAM, and user provisioning.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration.
• Experience with Java, Python, ETL tools, or cloud integration services.
• Experience migrating complex datasets, including relationships, attachments, historical/status data, and reference data.
• Experience with data-quality checks and migration reconciliation.
• Experience in integration testing, production deployment, troubleshooting, and rollback planning.
• Good understanding of certificates, secrets, encryption, logging, and secure file transfer.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, or similar.
• Experience with custom Java applications and legacy relational databases.
• Experience with ETL/data integration platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms and API gateways.
• Experience with CI/CD and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Experience with enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, banking, or financial services.
• ITONICS experience is a plus but not mandatory.
