About the Role:

ResourceDekho is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic Engineering department. In this crucial full-time role, based in our hybrid Jaipur office, you will be instrumental in upholding and elevating the quality standards of our diverse software solutions within the IT Services and IT Consulting industry. This position exists to ensure the delivery of robust, reliable, and high-performing applications to our clients by meticulously applying expertise in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, JIRA, and Regression Testing, thereby safeguarding user experience and reinforcing ResourceDekho's commitment to excellence.

Role Overview:

As a Quality Analyst at ResourceDekho, you will play a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for various web and mobile applications. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of our client-facing products, ensuring they meet the highest quality benchmarks before deployment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed Manual Test Cases for new features and existing functionalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Automation Test Scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform comprehensive API Testing to ensure the integrity and functionality of backend services and integrations.
• Utilize JIRA effectively for defect tracking, test case management, and reporting on test progress.
• Conduct thorough Regression Testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

What You'll Work On:

• Ensuring the quality and reliability of various custom software applications and platforms developed for ResourceDekho's diverse clientele.
• Building and enhancing automated test suites for web, mobile, and API layers to streamline the testing process.
• Implementing best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) by integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
• Collaborating on the definition of acceptance criteria and user stories to ensure testability from the outset.
• Analyzing and reporting on software quality metrics to provide insights for product and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, B.E., M.E., BCA, MCA, B.Sc., M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Years of Experience: 2-5 years of dedicated experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing roles within the IT industry.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), preferably within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements to ensure thorough testability and complete coverage.
• Experience with defect management processes, including accurate logging, tracking, and verifying fixes.

Technical Skills:

• Manual Testing: Expert proficiency in various manual testing techniques, including functional, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress) for web applications.
• API Testing: Proficient in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• JIRA: Advanced proficiency in utilizing JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
• Regression Testing: Strong understanding and practical experience in planning, executing, and optimizing efficient regression test cycles.
• Database Testing: Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or other relevant QA certifications.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Basic scripting knowledge in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation enhancement.
