Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Python, SQL, and Databricks, along with experience working on clinical datasets. This role involves building robust data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes Build and manage workflows using Databricks integrated with AWS services Optimize SQL queries, data models, and pipeline performance Ensure data accuracy and reliability through monitoring and quality checks Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization) Expertise in Python for data processing and automation Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR) Hands-on experience with Databricks Experience handling clinical datasets / healthcare domain data Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks, data warehousing & data modeling Experience working with large-scale structured & unstructured data Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
